The Newhall orange, a variety with blond flesh and no pit
The plant is vigorous, of medium development, with a pronounced tendency to branch downwards, therefore it has a collected posture that lends itself well to the “Globe” training system. The leaves are large and dark green. The fruit is ovate or elliptical and the skin is medium-thick, dark orange in color, tending to reddish when ripe. The size is medium (from 150 to 250 grams).
