THE FRUIT PLANT
The Tarocco Orange is a good vigor variety with ascending vegetation but with branches that tend to droop a little. The leaves are large and dark green in color,
there are more or less pronounced spines.
The fruit is the shape and size of a classic orange.
Inside it can be more or less red depending on the winter weather.
The more or less cold actually increases the production of antioxidants (anthocyanins) that give it the classic red color_
WHEN WILL THE FLOWER COME AND WHEN IS IT RIPE
The bloom is unique in spring and consists of very fragrant white flowers
The main fructification takes place between January and March, the period when the fruit best expresses its quality.
HOW TO EAT THEM ?
The Tarocco orange can be used in many ways in the kitchen
Eaten in parts at first, but also good for making delicious jams and orange salads, or simply grated to flavor desserts and dishes.
COLD RESISTANCE
As for cold resistance, we rely on our tests.
In a sheltered environment (e.g. in our greenhouses) it can withstand temperatures down to -8°C
Cultivated, this variety requires the same care as a classic lemon.
